Douglas Booth as Light Yagami (Death Note)

It took me forever to find a new choice for Light, but here he is. For those unfamiliar Light Yagami aka Kira is the protagonist and main villain of Death Note. Light is a tactical super genius who my chance receives a death note (the magical weapon of the shinigami allowing him to kill anyone buy writing down their name), and goes on a killing spree of anyone he considers a threat to society (criminals as well as his own enemies) as the vigilante Kira. Light is later put on the team investigating Kira and eventually becomes its leader as he slowly descends into to madness. Besides being a tactical genius, Light has a great understanding of police investigations (his father is a member of interpol) he's also a master manipulator stringing along numerous people with different acts. After a lot of consideration I ended up going with english actor Douglas Booth known for playing Captain Bingly in Pride Produce and Zombies and as 'Pip' BBC's Great Expectations (2011) Douglas did a great job in both of these roles and I really would love to see him get more starring roles. Admittedly he has never done a role quite like Light before, but he's a very versatile actor and he did do a wonderful job as a very manipulative villain Titus Abrasax in Jupiter Ascending, which for someone who has to be mid to early 20s to play Light is actually wonderful experience.
