Freddie Highmore as Trace Legacy (TwoKinds)

Trace Legacy is the male protagonist of TwoKinds. Before his amnesia he was the Grand Templar and a dangerous racist madman out for revenge on all Keidrian with his black magic and influence. The god Neutral stripped him of his memory and reverted him to his natural good-hearted self for his plans, as of yet unknown. In his new incarnation Trace is a heroic if rather naive figure (he seems to trust about anyone and doesn't think about consequences of some of the things he does) who wants to protect his girlfriend Flora, as well as help people who are affected by the impending war and hate which his old self was responsible for. This has made him a wanted fugitive from the Templar with a price on his head. Sadly he retains character traits from his past such as a compelling desire for the power over life and death to keep his loved ones alive and he will revert to a terrifying homicidal trance like state when the lives of his friends are in danger, he's also reverted to his old self once momentarily. Trace is a very skilled and very powerful mage and also has a lot of skill in armed combat with his sword from his time with the templar. He also has a lot of confidence in himself once he starts to regain his powers.

English actor Freddie Highmore is known for being the infamous Norman Bates in Bates Motel. Casting an actor known for playing a villain seemed like the way to go since Trace was a villain for a lot of his life and a rather crazy one at that. Freddie is a really accomplished and good actor whose about the right age for Trace and the same age range as my choice for Flora. I think he would easily be capable of doing an action role and for also playing Trace in his current immature good guy state, but he would excel at playing Trace in flashbacks and in his murder trances. Trace being played by an Englishmen might also be a nice touch for the fantasy setting of the comic. Freddie is also 25 and Trace's canon age currently is 24
