Nina Dobrev as Zatanna (DC Comics)

MZimmer1985 had requested I go and cast the other members of Justice League Dark. It brought me to the issue that my pick for John Constantine is the very young Rupert Grint for a Swamp Thing film series. So I either had to go and recast John for the JLD continuity or try and go with Rupert. I have for now decided to go with Rupert and figure i'd do a avengers type deal where he'd appear in like Swamp Thing 2 and go to either a JLD film for do a Hellblazer in-between or maybe Hellblazer right after. With him in mind I of course needed to go young for my pick for Zatanna since I think it makes sense for them to be about the same age for JLD. With that I ended up using Nina Dobrev for Zatanna Zatara. For those unfamiliar with Zatanna, she's a stage magician turned superhero who uses actual magic power, mostly spells that she recites. Nina Dobrev is of course the Star of Vampire Diaries. I personally think that picking a Eastern European ancestry actresses makes a lot of sense just for effect. It adds mystery.
